4) What styles of photography do you offer?
There are different styles of bridal photography being used nowadays.
1) ECLECTIC STYLE (Combination of all styles)
2) PHOTOJOURNALISM
3) TRADITIONAL STYLE
4) ROMANTIC STYLE
I will try to define these photographic styles the way I see them.
"Eclectic" coverage is a combination of all the styles mentioned below. This seems to be the most requested format for today's modern bride. It gives the bride and groom the comfort of knowing that all aspects and details of their wedding day are taken into account. With "Eclectic" coverage, the bride and groom would have some posed formals, as well as all the other candid or natural photos that the bride and groom and their photographer see fit to take. They can also have black and white pictures mixed in with their color photos.

"Photojournalism" is a term derived from old fashion newspaper coverage of an event being reported. A newspaper photographer would simply take as many pictures of the event he or she is covering, from all angles, in an attempt to tell the whole story. In the past, all newspapers were printed in black and white.
When adapted to a wedding, the same rules apply. The photographer you hire would try to capture every detail of the day without posing the bride and groom at all. Your photos would be in black and white with some sepiatone photos as well.
However, since its introduction into the wedding world, some of the photojournalism rules have changed. Brides and grooms sometimes prefer color pictures instead of b&w, while others hire two photographers. One for the photojournalistic approach and one for the necessary posed formals and family pictures.

"Traditional" bridal photography is a style that most couples are familiar with. Their mom and dad had it. Their older sister and brother had it. Their friends have had it. It is still very popular in the arena of photographic wedding coverage. Most of the pictures are posed and predictable. When done correctly, this type of coverage would leave nothing out of the day's events. Most of the pictures would be in color. As with all styles of coverage, the reception photos should all be candid with a few exceptions.

"Romantic" bridal photography still has its' place in the hearts and minds of young newlyweds. This style of photography is for the most part a component of the afore-mentioned "Traditional" style. With this coverage your photographer would approach most of his formal photographs with romance in mind. A wide variety of creative, elegant, warm and thoughtful poses would be used along with the use of soft-focus filters and scenic backgrounds. Candid photos comprise the rest of the coverage especially during the ceremony and the reception.
